    About High Bridge, New Jersey

    High Bridge is a borough in Western New Jersey and Hunterdon County. It has a population of more than 3,600 residents. High Bridge was incorporated as a township in 1871. The borough borders other Hunterdon County municipalities such as Lebanon Township and Clinton Township.  High Bridge is home to a rail trail (called Columbia Trail) that was developed out of the former Central Railroad of New Jersey High Bridge Branch. It is currently maintained by Hunterdon County Parks and Recreation. High Bridge’s main public park is called Union Forge Park. Other recreational spots in High Bridge include the High Bridge Hills golf course.
